Sartorius
scale MA-50, 100 Moisture analyzers featuring the ultimate in measuring
accuracy and functionality. Flexible for use in research, development
and quality control. Resolutions from 0.0001 g to 0.001 g, capacities
from 50 g to 100 g.
Sartorius MA50/100 gravimetric moisture analyzers are available with
either a ceramic infrared heating element or a halogen lamp.
The ceramic unit rapidly attains the final temperature to ensure a
uniform distribution of infrared rays over the entire sample surface,
thus eliminating localized burning. The halogen lamp is suited
for applications that require accelerated temperature regulation during
sample drying.
Other innovations include integration of the heat source into the
chamber cover. The motorized heating unit opens and shuts at
the touch of a key eliminating the need to use a hood. This
system minimizes handling of the sample, speeding up the process and
thereby preventing predrying during weigh-in. The motorized
heat source also reduces exposure of the weighing mechanism to mechanical
vibration.
The
new premium infrared moisture analyzers with highest accuracy is the
MA100 achieving an accuracy of 0.1 mg for research and development
or quality control.
Features
Measures
the moisture content of 0.2 % to 100 % down to 0.1 g resolution
"ASAP"
mode: automatic (endpoint) searching/automatic programming for quick
determination of the drying parameters and easy programming of a
drying routine
Choice
of two infrared heat sources: either the ceramic heating element,
which is extremely fast because it evenly heats a sample, or the
easy-to-regulate halogen lamp
User-friendly
design of the moisture analyzer with motorized heat source
Easy
to clean
A
data printer can be optionally integrated into the analyzer housing
to meet ISO/GLP requirements
MA100C/MA100H
offer fast and easy control of the accuracy through DIN/ISO-compliant
self-testing and self-calibrating capabilities thanks to the built-in
calibration weight and reproTEST function
The
moisture analyzer is operated whether using the keys on the display
and control unit or a PC connected via the RS-232
MoistureConnect
data transfer software, for reading weighing data into a PC is
a $425.00 option for the Sartorius MA-Series. Collecting
data and generating graphics(drying curves)
The
display is divided into section providing clear information of
the operation running. The top of the display shows the
drying program and test function in process.
Infrared
rays penetrate the sample without being impeded. Having
reached the interior of a sample, they are converted into heat
energy, which stimulates evaporation, thus drying the sample.
Optional Sartorius Printer provides GLP/GMP printouts. ISO
/ GLP compliance

sure what Sartorius Moisture Balance is best for you? There
is help HERE.
Warning
- Moisture
balancesshould not be used on any volatile
organic sample with flash points. Even a MSDS
rating of 1. Samples with low flask points like
Acetaldehyde -38°C or MEK -4°C should not
be used with the Sartorius MA Series Moisture Balance
and maybe you should look at Karl Fisher as an alternative.
Although you might presently perform analysis with
an oven on these samples the ovens typically have
ventilation and a much larger cavity than the typical
moisture balance that operates on the principles of
TGA. In addition, with most moisture balances
there is no ventilation so all the fumes remain inside
the hood of the moisture balance. We
strongly recommend you consult with a safety specialist
always prior to using any moisture balances for your
safety.
